LEGO® Star Wars™ - The Complete Saga

This is my first Lego game, and I just cannot get into it. I really bought it to kick the tires on a Lego game before dropping a bunch of money on the new Lego Skywalker Saga, and I think I dodged a bullet. The graphics aren't bad and the music is great, but it isn't fun. The controls aren't intuitive. I've experienced this in other games, but the difference there was once you figured it out the gameplay experience improved. This one did not. After playing through the first four or five levels I lost interest. This game now holds the distinction of being the first GOG title that I've uninstalled, and I've been buying games here for years. If you like both Lego games and Star Wars this might be for you, but if you're like me and only enjoy the Star Wars aspect of it then there are better games on GOG to get your SW fix.

Have this game through my dad's Mac App Store account, and it is amazing.

This review is not based on the content of the game which, having played the original trilogy on the Xbox 360 is, I'm sure, excellent. I thought that I might play this game on my PC with the current Xbox 1914 (Series X/S) controller through Bluetooth. Nope. Doesn't work; Can't get there from here. You would think that a Microsoft Windows PC game that advertises controller support would actually support the current Microsoft controller. You would be wrong. So, for me, this get one star as it is non-functional.

Don't even bother to play this with just a keyboard. You need a controller. And even better a friend to play it with.
