Legend of Grimrock

I've been playing this game and I absolutely love it. I never played a dungeon like this game before but I've fell in love with it. I can't wait ti see what else comes from this game and it's maker Too Human

This is what an oldskool game should be. The great dungeon crawler gameplay is packaged with shiny new graphics. Having finished the "Eye of the Beholder" series back in the days (yes, i had to draw the map on paper), I have rarely found something that gives me the simple pleasure of solving riddles and battling monsters for loot. It will become a classic. I only wish the sound was better as it becomes a bit repetitive...

If you like this game style from the past, you will love this. Beautiful graphics. Not turned based. Speed does matter. Solve puzzles and much more. Explore dungeons filled with creatures both bizarre and magical. Traps devious and deadly. The game leaves you wanting more.

For those of you that loved DM, EOB, LOL, Anvil of Dawn and similar games, this is a must buy. For those of you wanting to get a taste of old school dungeon crawls. This is a must buy. This is not a technically complex games, and still it is fun and demanding. Sometimes a more minimalistic approach is better than modern-times complexity. So don't expect thousands of items with thousands of stats, complex character creation and leveling rules or high-tactical fighting. But beware: although all puzzles are manageable, some are very hard, especially some of the timing-puzzles. This game is not perfect, but it is very very good.

Im running it on my mac using play-on-mac and on my desktop using play on linux, runs like a dream very smooth and fun! Makes me want to fire up dosbox
