TACTICAL DEPTH ON THE BATTLEFIELD
The environment and landscape matter in King’s Bounty II. Players will encounter diverse terrain types, directly impacting battlefield tactics. Every battle is unique in its own way.
Nowadays, you gotta approach a gameplay overhaul with a lot of skepticism. But they pulled it off.
Good story, good looking characters, a solid bestiary, a solid talent tree system, and they basically upgraded the previous games' mechanics without ruining them.
My only complaint would be that some combat arenas feel like you bought some cheap tickets to the baseball game. But I wouldn't change it, not worth the hassle.
As someone who played like 3-4 King's Bounty Games, I am more than satisfied with this one.
This game's voice acting is probably one of the worst I have ever played. It would literally be better if there were no voice actors.
It's like they didn't tell the voice actors what emotion they were supposed to have, so the voice actors went with "Calm conversersation" no matter what is happening. And it is the same emotional output for EVERY actor, on EVERY line. Doesn't matter if it's Character A saying "How have you been Grandma?" or Character B saying "The rats are eating my face" both lines are delivered with the same emotion and energy.
Battles somewhat intersting, still some choise like limited number of solders per type is disapoiting (you can have anymore an enormous quantity of lv1 troups even if you have enough lieadership.
Rpg... don't need to read/hear the quest, the choise is dicteted only by what skill you want to level up, everything else does not matter.
