Excellent Game... with a caveat
I like all the Kingdom Rush Games, on my phone or tablet. They are great! It's a fun game. It is funny, cool graphics neat story! The gameplay is solid as well. My two main beefs are simply this: The difficult spikes within a level, especially the later levels where if you don't build the right tower at the right spot with the right upgrades... you'll have to start over. I have had to watch walkthroughs and follow along to beat some levels. And I know we aren't supposed to review a game based on price, but I can't see how we can avoid it. A game has an inherent value based on a price/quality ratio. For example, The Witcher for 5$ is an incredible game! The Witcher for 150$ is much less so, because we expect much more for our money. In much the same way, this game at 15-20$ is underwhelming. I originally purchased this game for my android device and loved it. I didn't even mind the micro-transactions they put in there, because the price/value was spot on. And, while I don't know about the GOG version, specifically, I would be willing to bet they are still there.
