King of Seas is an Action Role playing game set in a deadly procedurally generated pirate world. In a ferocious plot you will fight to regain what has been taken away and embark on an epic adventure in a fantastic world, filled with battles, lost islands and treasures. A universe full of amazing characters and breathtaking missions will keep you anchored as you strive to become the king of all pirates.
MAIN FEATURES
- Story: A series of quests guide you on your journey and uncover the intriguing characters of the King of Seas world who will lead you to the next path of your epic adventure.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
- Special Missions: Extra rewards await you upon completion of these secondary missions, each settlement you conquer will be the source of new adventures!
- Treasure hunt: Secret maps are hidden in the abyssal depths, find them and obtain directions to submerged treasures!
- Trading: Each settlement produces specific products with their own market value. Buy them at the lowest price possible and sell them to other settlements where they are in demand. Buy low, sell high, this is the basis of trade!
- Fishing: Find as many as 30 varieties of fish living below the ocean surface. Fish them all but be careful to observe the time of day and weather conditions...
- Ranking: Every battle won will drive up the bounty on your head, compare it with the most famous pirates of history. Be the King of Seas!
- Multiple difficulties: The difficulty level adds a substantial multiplier to the bounty obtained in the game. How much will you be able to generate in hardcore mode?

Simple but funny
Simple game and repetitive but addictive and funny. Need some time to get used to the controls (i use kayboard and mouse). The save system doesn't work but by looking into the forum you can find the workaround (need to delete one single file). It works fine under Linux with wine. I'd wait the sales to buy it

Simpler, grindier version of Sid Pirates
Whilst the gameplay is nothing special, storry barely even matters the game can be fun at times, Some quite exciting abilities and some rather amusing abilities that you can slot into various ship parts (who act in same manner that both as action bar and equipment slots in most role playing games). these also allow fo some decent customisation in terms of how you approach battle. Example of this is pirate party an AOE around your ship that dose nice damage, tho i personaly prefer a ghstly tentacle that dose take finese and timing but dose massive damage to enemies. there are also utilities like speed for the ship (that one is why i do not have pirate party equiped - same slot) sure it dose minor fire damage to hostile crew but its negligible i use it entirely for speeding out of troubble or towards objectives. Visualy he game is fairly well stylised, most charakters look like an intentional satire, which dose add to game's not serious at all atmospere. Music is nonintrusive and dose not realy get annying even after hours. Can not realy expect this to be on par with big budget games sure but maybe something little... interesting could be more befitting this game. Overall it is just below averege game - worth your time, pretty good for discount purchase. not somethign you go out of your way to play and own especialy since there are other titles frm 90s with same perspective and different systems. (you cna not capture enemy ships after combat or have a swashbucle in 1st/3rd person tho you can have a boarding party damage enemy's crew.
