Point and click at its best

You are Gage Blackwood. You are an agent who's job it is to police time... striving to put right what once went wrong, and hoping that the next leap will be the leap home... Oops my bad ;) No this isn't quantum leap although wonder how that made into a game would be... *drifts off* Now this game is one I remember VERY fondly from my childhood (man do I feel old now) it took your standard point and click adventure, slapped on a heavy dose of B E A UTIFUL 3D imagry, voice acting, and that thing that games of today tend to fail at... HUMOUR. Now the learning curve can be a pain sometimes, one step too far and you're obliterated by an exploding wall via catapault... however, by putting on that brain cap which puts you in "check EVERYTHING" mode, you should be fine. With a good story, a nice atmosphere which truly makes things feel realistic more than many other games have ever been near achieving, a comical sidekick (for a while) and the obligatory french knight tossing a cow off a tower at you... what more could you want? (Besides the sequel on here >_> *cough* come on gog *cough*) If you love some strategy, you love point and click, you love adventure, comedy, action, puzzles.... *has a crisis* >_> sorry... If these things are you cup of tea and you haven't played this yet? You sir (and or madam) have let down gamers across the globe nearly as much as those who believe the only game in the world involves "Boom headshot", camping, cheating and all the "realistic" physics of a 2D platformer circa 1980. I implore you all, spend a little, splash out, and imerse yourself in time (buried in time, get it?). Get this game, for all you fellow gogers out there, this is adventure nearing its peak. You will not be disappointed.

A fantastic series!

A great adventure game with an AMAZING soundtrack. This is a very immersive game, so make sure to turn off the lights and put on some good headphones to really enjoy this title. The fastest $6 I have ever spent on GOG.com.

Wonderful Game: Windows 11 Users. READ!

This is one of my favorite games from my childhood and I love playing it. However, there's an issue with running it on Windows 11 with the out of the box GOG installer. Here's how you get it to work. 1. Download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable. Use google to find it. Install this 2. Once it is installed, delete the shortcut the installer makes. Instead go to C:\Program Files(x86)\Journeyman Project 2 3. Locate the BIT2432.exe 4. Create a short cut and move it to the desktop. 5. Enjoy the game.

SWEET JUMPING JELLLY BEANS!

First of all, I want to say, the original JP (which I still own the copy of, in it's original CD form), was the VERY first PC game I owned and played... I loved it so much! Unfortunately, I wouldn't own a sequel until JP3 came out, and I had missed on on the 2nd one completely, so I had always wondered what JP2 was like. I had borrowed it from a friend a while ago, and played through a small portion of it, but had never beaten it. The puzzles were far more challenging in this game than in the first, especially when I've played the first so many times I practically memorized it. (not that it's hard to do, JP1 probably lasted no more than 30-45 minutes in game length). The game story, the puzzles and game play, and the historically informative Arthur were great additions, creating a fun and engaging atmosphere, coupled with great art, and more. I can say FOR SURE, that I'm proud to own this sucker! Now, I'm saying it's a PERFECT game. The Gage Blackwood (Todd McCormick) of JP2, puts on a very contrived performance, and it seems pretty clear that they didn't have a very good budget this time around to get particularly good talent for the live-action actors. Then again, it doesn't really pull away too much of the charm that is The Journeyman Project, itself. The moment I saw the newsletter e-mail talking about it, I knew I had to purchase it for myself. If you get a chance to play ANY of them, even JP3, I would at least give it some serious thought. They're ALL great adventure/puzzle games.

One of my favourite trilogies

I picked up this game when I was a teenager and immediately fell in love with it. The story is amazing and the way it tries to add a bit of history education in there is brilliant. Loved listening to Arthur tell me about the different locations an making jokes. By the end of the game you really feel a bond with Arthur, truly one of the best sidekicks in a game. The controls are very clunky in the second one but once you get over that your treated to one of the best adventure games ever made. I recommend playing through the trilogy in order starting with Pegasus Prime, a remake of the original which is excellent. The 3rd is a great end to the trilogy. I can't reccomend these games enough. The second one will always hold a speciel place in my heart. If you love adventure games then give these a try. A truly epic adventure through time.
