Jagged Alliance

Almost 30 years since the release and this game still is one of the best. I've played it through more times than I care to remember and always come back for more. Don't let the poor graphics fool you. It's outdated. Still, the playability is fantastic and the storyline is great, not too linear. Wish there were more direct sequels to this than Deadly Games. JA2 was more complex and not so fun imho. If you like turn-based RPG's then you will love this. The game is almost free so grab it now! You won't be disappointed.

My english isnt very good, soo pleas dont laugh :) Jagged Aliance was one of my first game. i had just the demo Version of that coz my father didnt want to buy ist for me ( to violent for a 13 years old child :) I Found gog and Jagged Aliance this weeken and im really happy to Play it even it is very old. I still like the game^, turn for turn i have a lot of fun with it.

A nice old game. Still holds up well into the present time.

Incredible military/mercenary tactics game that was (along with XCOM) way ahead of its time. Excellent deep gameplay with advanced graphics engine (for its time) and open world. It is an overlooked title sadly, but of course its sequel built on its formula and became arguably (along with XCOM) till this day the greatest military/mercenary tactics game ever made.
