Jade Empire: Special Edition

I have to say that these game in spite of the years, is unique and one of a kind. If you like ancient chinese martial arts and RPG, this game is for you. I love the designs of the buildings and gadgets, the Characters are well played and the game has a solid plot, worth of a movie. You can also engage in a relationship with one of your Non playable characters. There are different techniques of fighting and you can also use weapons such as swords or sticks. It follows the line of Bioware games like Knights of the old republis, Mass Effect and the most recent Dragon Age. I really recommend it, I don't know how I missed this game these years, fortunately, I played now almost 10 years later, and It was a fantastic surprise for me.

I was simply surprised how nice the game is. I have played many rpg's before, but Jade Empire has its own charm. Just buy this product. You will not be disappointed.

Jade Empire is already a great game, Bioware has a great storyline to offer, beautiful mini-games and the focus fight on Kung Fu is and has always been refreshingly different. Unfortunately, the unbalanced level of difficulty annoys me. On easy the game is generally too easy and on the normal level of difficulty but sometimes almost unfertrable. So to avoid frustration, you have to switch from normal to easy over and over again. If you play on easy one bores the game rather, because almost every opponent falls over with one hit. So nothing half and nothing whole 6/10 points In Deutsch: Klasse Spiel, unausgewogenes Gameplay Jade Empire ist schon ein tolles Spiel, es hat Bioware typisch eine tolle Story zu bieten, schöne Minispiele und den Fokus Kampf auf Kung Fu zu legen ist und war schon immer erfrischend anders. Leider nervt mich der unausgewogene Schwierigkeitsgrad. Auf leicht ist das Spiel im allgemein zu leicht und auf dem normalen Schwierigkeitsgrad aber teilweise fast unschaffbar. So muss mann um Frust zu vermeiden, immer wieder von normal auf leicht wechseln. Spielt man nur auf leicht Langweilt einen das Spiel eher, weil fast jeder Gegner mit einem Schlag umfällt. Also nichts halbes und nichts ganzes 6/10 Punkten

Having played both the original and this port, all I can really say is that this PC port is a glitch riddled disappointment. It's unfortunate really, Jade Empire was a great game on the Xbox. It was a rich world with an interesting story with solid controls and fluid game-play. As it is, this port just leaves me wishing that I was playing the original. My experience has been laggy and filled with graphical glitches, and mehh Keyboard & mouse controls. It's a shame, really.

I played this game back when it first released on the Xbox. I picked it up on sale recently and decided to play through it again. After nearly ten years, this game still hold up to more recent titles like Mass Effect and Dragon Age. The story is amazing, game play is superb, and graphics are still breath taking. Too bad that this game came out at the end of a generation and that Bioware was already working on Mass Effect to give this game it proper dues.
