I love this game
I had this game on a disk and was happy to see it available again. It never gets old.

great old game
Difficult single player campaign - Yes, when I first played it, 20+ years ago... Now, I tend to find more creative ways to crush the villains.. (like, in "gates level" building water chamber behind enemy base to "flush" his lab before he reaches lvl 5). Also, I've made my own maps, created my cheesed armies to test my own favorite minions... Yep, I'm replaying this game over and over... and now I have this GOG version as original version stopped working on my new WIN10/11-ready computer. And yes, all creatures are equal and some more equal then others :)

It is good.
This game is good. It is fun. Is it anything special (apart from the whole unit combining)? No. But it is fun enough. Has a 15 mission campaign. No difficulty for skirmishes. A good 10 to 20 hours depending on your skill in RTSs. Oh, warning, not RTS noob friendly.

Who's a good abomination of nature?
Impossible Creatures did not break the mold or create a new sub-genre in the strategy genre, but it had an interesting idea and run with it to a good degree of success. Read the full review here: https://mr-skeltals-thoughts-deposit.blogspot.com/2022/03/impossible-creatures-review-whos-good.html
