Violent but enjoyable roguelite
I am on my second playthrough. It is quick, but there is replayability there.

Good fun, although personally I prefered Katana Zero (in a very similar vein). Also, the Linux build requires some libraries that don't seem to be availlable from my distro's official repositories, but the Windows version runs perfectly under proton. Still, I'd prefer if the native build worked out of the box :/

GOG version cannot see the ranking.
GOG version cannot see the ranking. I've even tried installing the GOG Galaxy, but I couldn't see the rankings. I don't even know if there's a way I don't know. There's no way to see the rankings at the moment. The other part of the game is great. The games are really fun.

The music!
This game has almost no flaws in my opinion. The flaws are there, but they aren't flaws that would affect my personal opinion. The game plays out fast, furious, and very very violent. Seriously, if there is only one game that I wouldn't allow a child of mine to play (because of violence) it would be this one. While the game is exactly what I like in my video games, the reason I play it repeatedly is the music. It just adds so much to this game. It makes a fast paced game feel so much more intense that it should. It makes the aftermath of your carnage feel so much more emotional. Seriously, the genius decision of making you walk out of the current level through all of the mutilated bodies you left behind... as your heart is slowing down from the intensity of the challenge you just faced and you hear that music. What you have done actually weighs on your heart. Never have I played a game where the music enhances what I feel to such an extent.

Frustrating yet addictive
This game is brutal, both in mechanics and aesthetics. This game has made me rage on more than one occasion, yet I had to keep playing. I couldn't just let the game win like that. When you eventually win, you'll feel like you were pummeled as bad as your character was. But you'll feel a rewarding sense of relief that it's over . . . or will it.
