Hollow Knight

This game nails everything – the exploration and the map, the artstyle, the combat system, the story are all polished to perfection. The value of this game far exceeds its low pricetag. I am very much looking forward to Silksong.

Before talking about the game let me just say that even if it cost 60$ it would still be worth the price, so the fact that you can get a game of this quality for just 15$ is absolutely insane. Hollow Knight is almost perfect, especially for the price. The story is rich and interesting, the combat is simple but refined, the art design and graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack is legendary. Like i said, the game is "almost" perfect. I wish there were more fast travel options since going through levels you already explored can get repetitive. The game also has a slow start which does get better as you start unlocking new powers and abilities. While the game is flawed, i still think it's ABSOLUTELY WORTH BUYING and i can recommend it to anyone who likes action/adventure games.

This s one of the best Metroidvania games I have ever played. This game plays similarly to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, yet it remains original in it's own respect. The boss fights are very intense, and often difficult to overcome, but there is a great sense of satisfaction when you finish each one. I also appreciate the fact that this game is far less 'dark' then the Castlevania games, while still maintaining a 'Tim Burton' like feel. I am disappointed that the game has already crashed on me once, but the gameplay is still mostly flawless.

I enjoyed every single minute playing this game. It is absolutely stunning. The graphics, the story, the abilities. I loved everything about it. This should be best indie game of the century in my opinion. Furthermore what I love about this game is that you have to explore in order to advance. You have to figure out yourself what your next move is which keeps it interesting. I have been playing videos games for more than 20 years. I can safely add Hollow Knight to my top 10 best games. This game is so much more worth than $15. Anyways I recommend it 5/5 stars!
