Not as good as Homm3

I got this game boxed since release. This HommV is surely better then chapter IV, which was quite a fail for many reasons, but it has some flaws compared to the older Homm3. Surely its a lot more good looking with this 3d graphic but it is less customizable and the map editor is a lot less user friendly, also if i remember right the maps are quite little. I know there is some kind of random map generator created by fans but i never saw it so i cant say nothing about it, just when the game was new the absence of a random map generator was quite a miss. About the gameplay its the same as old homm serie, just, as some other stated, in this chapter the neutral mobs are a lot more and a lot stronger, wich create an involontary balance issue, as the pc tends to abuse the recruit (leadership) trait so it can happen to meet the computer controlled enemy and find that his army is ten times yours as during turns it rarely fought and usually recruited mobs around, not sure if lately this issue was addressed. At the end imho this HommV is not bad overall, but not better then the third chapter, also even considering all the expansions i think that 20 euros is a bit too much, i bought games like fallout3 with full dlcs, DoA and many others much more hyped and famous at less then 10.

So much worse than HOMM 3

Dont see any reason to play this game, its so much worse than HOMM 3. There is so many better games here in GoG to spent my time, there is no way iam gonna play this again. When i want some turn based strategy action, i just go back to HOMM3. HOMM3 never gets old because its a masterpiece, HOMM V is really, really far from that. Its not awful, but i dont recommend.

Not understanding the hate to HoMM4

I really do not understand why people hates so much Heroes4 and likes this 5 version. Someone can explain me where are those tremendous differences between 3 and 4 to enjoy one and hate the other? I tried both (first I played 4 then 5 and then 3) and the only one that I did not like was the 5 (due to high expectatives I guess) but from 3 to 4 I only see some improvements like the hero centered and the caravana and the armys without heroes. What do you dislike? The 4th's IA? Are you saying that the IA was better on 1999 than in 2004?? Thanks for your comments.
