Honestly, Hard Reset Redux is an easy game to recommend for those wanting a little more of what made Doom such a success last month. Fast-paced shooting, combined with some great visual design and a few upgrades to keep your arsenal fresh. If you’ve not played Hard Reset before, Hard Redux is well worth the price of admission.

Deft, fluid fps
Gameplay is quick, smooth, and fluid; lots of explosive barrels etc. in the environment that can be used to damage enemies. Graphics are some of the best DX9 visuals you'll ever find. Story is there just so you know why you're doing stuff, but isn't important; skip through it as fast as possible just get back to more of that great combat. 8/10 Preferable to the original version because the dash mechanic added in Redux makes it a LOT easier to dodge charging enemies. Exile DLC is included in Redux.

HARD RESET IT'S STILL AMAZING IN 2024
I love the gameplay, it reminds me if serious sam, shadow warrior 1 and 2, and Doom stile gameplay but in a distopian cyberpunk world. Loved it!!

Really fun!
Yeah, it was cool seeing the city, and shooting the robots was cool. The soundtrack is great. I've just started the game. The intro has a neat comic-book style intro that I just love. It's almost corny, but if it is, it's not a bad thing.

Great game
Already ran thru on normal and hard, might try a harder difficulty but hard was probably the sweet spot for me, it might take a bit to "get" the game but once it clicks, the combat is very enjoyable, the visuals still look great, and the gun sounds are loud and powerful. Too bad we never got a sequel, and you can tell they cut corners with the story cutscenes but who cares, the story is bad anyways. I zoned out very early and just enjoyed the shooting
