Honestly, Hard Reset Redux is an easy game to recommend for those wanting a little more of what made Doom such a success last month. Fast-paced shooting, combined with some great visual design and a few upgrades to keep your arsenal fresh. If you’ve not played Hard Reset before, Hard Redux is well worth the price of admission.

Nothing special... and lots of glitches

This shooter is nothing special, aside a nice graphic coat. The story is potentially nice, but narrative is a bit weak. Weapons a bit boring. Enemies a bit boring. Explosives and "secret" are there calling for you. I got lots of graphical glitches: mainly menus not appearing and black screens, while the game is still playing in the background. For a FREE game it is ok tough.

More like "reduce".

Unnecessary addition no one really wanted, breaking the promise HR will remain a PC exclusive. It has downgraded graphic quality and reduced difficulty. Absolutely worthless to anyone owning the original. Also worthless to new customers, who are way better off with getting the original. It adds nothing new to the table,the sword is a advertisement asset. Why? Do you need some easily milked dosh for your already stale SW2? At least it's not a forced update to the original game.
