Hard Reset Redux

Your hard earned money on this game you shall not waste. As fun it is not, to shoot with nerf guns on bullet sponge robots.

Levels are bland and absolutely clueless about what you have to do. You don't feel any impact of your weapons and the way you have to swap them sucks. Abandoned incomplete.

How the hell does this have a 4? Every single level I'm stuck trying to get to the next part.. There are check points constantly and you can't go to the next part without completely finishing the previous part. There is no map, and no guidance, like '2 enemies left'. My latest, and last part I'm stuck at since I'm done with this game, a hint keeps popping up saying 'this switch disables the barrier'. The switch is in a room, that has bars so I can see the switch. But I can't get into the room. Wow, thanks for the hint. Run around for 20 minutes trying to figure out how I'm supposed to get into that room, no idea. There's another barrier too but the hint there says to destroy the power source. I've shot at literally everything on this level, I don't know what I'm supposed to blow up or what the power source is. Part of the level "design" is you having to jump on crates to then jump over a fence. Ok... So you'd expect that to be true everywhere, but it's not. You can only jump over designated areas, the rest is invisible walls. But you will spend plenty of time trying to jump up or over stuff but you can't because invisible walls. On one hand, that is the mechanic the game wants you to, on other hand you can't do that 99% of the time. This is such garbage design. 3 levels into the game, I have no idea what my mission even is, what am I doing, why are these missions for? And every level I have to go to youtube, look up a playthrough to see what miniscule detail I missed so I can advance. AND FOR WHAT, the gunplay is subpar, the layout for your guns is frustrating. I'd rather a game be completely on rails to advance you through the content then this trend of 'we're cool because we aren't holding your hand'. I guess the one pro I'd give it is decent graphics that runs quite smooth compared to slogs like Metro.

A certefied refund title here. Can't change the resolution or the mode in game. Can't force another resolution on this game it still defaults to the biggest one.
