GWENT: Rogue Mage

Really beautifull game based on gwent, art, music and themes really well made 8/10 but... That being said, as a game it is really lacking, only 3 real pre-made decks, which cant be really modified. They obviosly got inspired by "slay the spire" but in that game the deck works because the runs are long and multiple cards can be added or removed on the process, here the runs are about 10 encounters, and RNG on elites can be pretty much a breeze or literally impossible to win being the later much more frecuent sadly, And dont get me wrong i have around 700h on original gwent and saw it evolve from 3 rows to 2, to the first 3 expansions being released. I played the same scoia'tel deck for about 200h and i loved it, here i played 10h of 3 different decks (about 15 runs) and got bored . overall 5/10 would buy in an offer if you like gwent and you already have Thronebreaker, if neither, do yourself a favour and buy thronebreaker, absolutly masterpiece compared to this game.

Great game; I love CDPR card games. On this one I wish the cards were transmuted. All of the artwork is still. Also, you may need to play several runs until you get better cards and get the luck to play them, especially when they evolve. Overall, I like the game, but I think it could've used animated artwork, after all you are paying for it as a standalone.

As a gwent game it is decent, good rogue like, Only plot is... poor, i expected at least part of thronebreaker style But it is good idea for future development and maybe for making kind of dnd content with that
