Quite enjoyable
This is a solid ARGP worth playing. It is up there in my favorites with Diablo (1,2,3), Torchlight, and Titan Quest

equal to Diablo 2
A great game! With extra quests and trials, it is like Diablo 2 but with better graphics! I love it.

One of most iconic arpgs
Grim dawn is the almost perfect arpg. With its build diversity, fun combat and absolute crapload of items to chase and farm for. Must have for every fan of the genere. Sadly it has very outdated visuals that may be a problem for some newer players. Wholeheartedly i recommend this game because it is a very fun experience.

Theorycrafting Paradise
The best arpg to date for build variety. There is a plethora of items which support horizontal itemization so classes with primarily fire damage can become cold damage beasts, or summons can be converted to any damage you can think of (even going a bleed DOT), as examples. Prepare to spend more time thinking about new builds on Grim Calc and having 20 alt-builds sitting at level 40 because a shiny new item dropped that you're curious what can do in a different build! I'm at 832 hrs and I thought of 3 new builds in the last 3 game sessions, one being turning a typically physical damage associated class combo into an elemental damage machine with a very big bonk. One trying to make a Juggernaut (Xmen) who uses multiple cooldown based mobility/damage skills on rotation, and one who spams a lightning projectile based skill that can become a shotgun up close. My favourite arpg since Diablo 2.

Good atmosphere, repetitive, lack tactic
I'm a pretty honest review, I only write one once I've finished at least once the game, and I don't give 5 stars to any good game. 1 star = avoid, 3 star = decent, 5 = must play and replay, a classic. I think my time is valuable, so, does it worth the money/time to finish and replay this game? This is the review without DLC. The good: - Nice graphics atmosphere, I really feel terrified in a level due to it. - Lots of different builds and mixed classes. - You can build guns or melee in almost any character. - Gamepad support. - Good music! - Lots of gear to equip your character. - DLCs if you want more. The bad: - In my first run, I just picked and maxed a couple of skill with the arcanist and I won the game with them = boring. - The music, while it's good, lack some variety. - While there are a lot of classes, I don't feel any appeal to replay the game again, I played it twice. The skills are pretty similar between classes. - You will spend a lot of time comparing gear, and you will feel a little lost about what to max, the in game description of skills lack some basic information. - The monster of each zone respawn with each game replay. - A little grinding is need to max your reputation with some factions. - Factions are generally banal. You almost do not have choice. - The final boss is really weak and boring. - There is no ending. I had good moments playing this game, but I do not like it enough to purchase their DLCs. The most of time I was going in autopilot mode. I enabled my brain only when I wanted to distribute my skill points or decide which gear should I wear. If you liked Diablo or Diablo 2, you will like this one. I didn't played Diablo 3 to compare.
