2000's action movie cheese at its finest
- Cheesey 2000's action movie plot of blue collar plumber rising up through the ranks of a Soviet invasion of New York. - Interesting non-linear objective design where you have a number of levels with a number of objectives and the order you complete them may make your job easier or harder. For example your main objective may be taking over a stronghold. Problem is the stronghold has an attack chopper and troop reinforcement. You *can* attack it directly but it'll be really hard so instead you can go to another location and destroy the helipad for the chopper and destroy some bridges to cut off reinforcements. These support objectives usually impact each other as well so there's not usually an optimal objective completion path. - The squad AI is pretty competent aside from minor pathfinding problems on stairwells and narrow paths. Much like the enemies they take cover well and take advantage of fixed weapons with simple commands on the 1 2 3 keys, follow, attack, defend respectively. Can order as a squad or individually but don't expect to micromanage. - Guns work on a bloom cone, meaning your shots won't often go exactly as you aim. This is both blessing and curse. On the one hand it makes accurate shooting without a sniper rifle annoying but on the other hand makes your squad more valuable as they can support you through volume of fire and numbers. You're a squad leader who can hold their own but aren't a one man army
