Every aspect of Flower serves its singular vision: nourishing and maintaining a 1-2 hour Zen-like experience. Vibrant colors, an incredible score, and meticulous eyes overseeing the game's pacing—Flower rises to the occasion. A decade later, little has changed, though the PC port suffers a good deal on account of its mouse and keyboard controls.

Flower "Power"
Flower Positives: + The idea is good + Some places are ok + Some ok music + Different + Its short Negatives: - The most horrible controls I have ever encountered - Sometimes feels like the game is controlling itself - Not anywhere near harmonical and peaceful - Frustrating - No in-game explanation whatsoever - Way too politically correct - The graphics are so-so - Sometimes surprisingly dark and creepylike This game is nothing like it seems, it looks beautiful and peaceful, but its not. Its quite dark and has very frustrating controls. The only ones who might like this are environmentalists, artistic people and non-violent "gamers". Its different, I'll give it that. But at the same time, we've heard the story a million times before about how humans and industry destroys the nature and the environment. Please come up with something else the next time, the topic is used up. And fix the horrible controls! Total Score: 4.5/10
