[PRO] - Good Graphics and Physics - Some good music (Rob Zombie, Megadeth & Nickelback) - Xbox 360 Game Pad works well with complete vibration (not only for impacts like another reviewer here said). There's a flaw however (see below) - Fun and challenging at the same time [CON] - Music too repetitive. The same songs over and over (Megadeth and Motley Crue - strangely - played ONLY in menu screen and Stunts Mini Game respectively). - Car tuning is cool, but IA is always faster than you. No matter how much you tuned your vehicle, an opponent car will always appear from nowhere behind you. Not so realistic. - You'll have to use the keyboard arrows + ENTER and ESC keys when in you're in game options / pause menu since the game pad won't work. Too bad. - Not so much tracks after all. After a while you can get bored.

Its prepacked with wine and crashes on launch, on Slackware-current

If you are fan of Destruction Derby, or rally games, or maybe Burnout? No matter what you like in driving related games - this one and its previous part is a MUST HAVE. Seriously, there are very few games in my 30 years of gaming experience i can say like this. BUY IT! You won't be disappointed. Low price does not correspond with quality.

So glad Linux is getting some love, Flat out 2 runs flawlessly on my Linux rig, and the wine wrapper works seamlessly. I know there are some Linux uses who stay away from wine for one reason or another, but the nice think about the wrapper is it uses less space then installing wine all the dependencies, plus no dll's to manage, just extract run start.sh and race on.

While the game has aged extremely well, and is a total blast, the music hasn't. So I just turn it off and blast black metal for about the most fun a guy can have. Cheers!
