Firewatch

found this very stressful and my experience wasnt that good. wanted a cozy game for a stressful day, and got more stressed for a guy hearing all my conversations... giving 3 stars bc i would love this in other circumstance.

While there is a certain mystery to be solved, the lack of NPC interaction and unrequited relationship with Delilah leaves one unfulfiled on completing this game. Depth of Field and motion blur caused queasiness, and I'm not entirely certain what parameters the game uses for completion if I can finish the game at 60%. Barely worth the $3 price tag. Ultimately I am unlikely to seek out additional titles by this developer.

Only minus of game is that it is a little bit short for it's price.

Amazing setting ,characters and story. this game doesn't pack a lot of action or things to do but you get hooked up by the story. Evokes the right emotion at the right moments. The big problem with the game is it's anticlimatic horrible ending that strippes the experience down from the im[act it might have had. If you liked LiS you will probably like this. though there's less to do in this game.

I started playing Firewatch on my old computer and had to set the settings real low so it would play smoothly. I finished it on my new computer and it was much better as I could plat smoothly at the highest settings. Basically you need a good computer to play this game. The game play is alright. It can be hard to get around even with the map. I kept expecting the story to unfold, but it was kind of a let down, particularily the ending. It's like it just ended, no major break throughs or amazing plot twist. A decent game that couild have been better.
