Get it anywhere else
It's like SNK decided to give GOG the absolute dirt worst versions of their games possible.

Barely a game
This is the arcade version - no versus, no training, etc. To make it playable, a menu was created to allow you to change difficulty, continues, etc. Meaning you can't change difficulty from within the game. Controls stated in the menu are wrong - punching and kicking is said to be done with Q,W,X,C - instead it's with A,Z,X,C. Simple mistake to fix, yet it's still hasn't been fixed. Keyboard controls are atrocious, and although you can't change keys or get controller support, you can use AntiMicroX to map keyboard controls to a controller. Used it with my 1.50$ janky SpeedLink controller and it work's fine for games with bad controller support. Not as good as actual controller support, but better than using a keyboard.

DotEMU Trash
Cannot rebind controls. Have to use an external program to get this slow port with input lag to even work correctly with an arcade stick. The only redeeming quality, is it comes with the ROM so you can legally emulate it after. Just use fightcade.

Legendary game, awful release
This game is a classic, and you should definitely pick it up, both because it's an amazing game and because you get the actual ROM with your purchase. Make sure to grab the ROM, and play it through MAME, because the emulator the game comes bundled with is disgusting. You will probably be unable to play at full screen, but you will definitely be unable to configure your XInput controller, nor use it at all.

ABYSMAL version of a great game
Some retro game fans shudder with revulsion when someone mentions the name DotEmu, and this game provides unequivocal, objective justification for that forceful reaction. I consider Fatal Fury Special one of the best fighting games of the mid 90s, right up there with Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, and DotEmu did an ATROCIOUS job bringing this game to PC. They literally just packed the ROM with a terrible emulator and called it done. You get a single save state, and it supports 8bitdo's Neo-Geo Pad, and probably other Xbox controllers. In fairness, Capcom's mediocre at best Street Fighter 30th Anniversay Collection also only supports 1 save state per game, but come on. Those "features" aside, you get: No support for Dualshock/Dualsense controllers No ability to reconfigure the asinine default keyboard config No graphics options beyond Fullscreen and Windowed. No scaling options, screen filters, screen borders, nothing. No sound options beyond basic volume control No support for high refresh rate displays. If you have a 144 Hz (or higher) display, the game will play ABSURDLY fast unless you either manually set your refresh rate to 60 Hz before playing, or maybe use your GPU options to limit this game specifically to 60 Hz. DotEmu did such a miserable job with this one that they literally got the default keyboard controls wrong. It lists the following in the "Input Options": D button - Q A button - W B button - X C button - C Besides coming up with one of the worst default key configs I've ever seen personally, these buttons DON'T MATCH the actual bindings. For me at least, the keyboard follows THIS config: Z - A button X - B button C - C button (Honestly okay so far) A- D button (WTF?!!?!) Legit no idea how I have this *only slightly less* stupid button layout. The garbage emulator has no built-in rebinding and I don't recall messing with an INI file or anything to change them. If I did, I wouldn't have set up this lousy config! Shame on you, DotEmu!
