I dont regret buying this game but
I think there is a lot of wasted potential. Due to the fact that you are being pushed forward the entire time, you can, at least in theory, reach the end very quickly. Unfortunately I think theres is far to much rng in this game. You can find very powerful items right at the start of the game or maybe not at all. This has a significant impact on the games difficulty. So far I only tried the easiest setting but still had to try several times to reach the end. Just today, after several, sometimes even successful games, I tried again and died in the first minute of the game. No chance whatsoever. RNG just said no. At least in my opinion, the outcome of a game is far to much dependent on rng than on the skill of the player. But for 2,39€ I had some fun (and frustrating) hours with this game.

Great, but...
Interresting game, for sure. But there is a major point that disappointed me: it is hard to progress! So you have restart the game again and again... I would expected to keep some progression to make the game easier on the time spend. But no. There a lot of (great) games and I dont' want to waste my time with a game that I have to start from scratch every time. Too bad, since that game has a great potentiel.

This game is not for me
Science fiction, fitting soundtrack, nice art and design - this game should have everything for me to fall in love with it. Yet all it leaves me with is exhaustion, frustration and a huge time sink. It might be somewhat addictive in its roguelike mechanics, but this comes at the price of seemingly very random encounters and needing a big portion of luck to progress through the game. It doesn't "click" with me. I don't have the level of micromanagement skills to do well in later battles, nor have I developed any sense for the economics behind it. For me, every run is just a string of interesting, random and often brutal encounters until I have to start again from the beginning. This means that this game, to me, is not fun - it's bullying, torturing me, leaving me with less energy and in a bad mood. Kind of a Stockholm syndrome - I know that it doesn't do me good, but there is still the urge to continue. Not only could I have spent the time I've sunk into this game doing something entertaining, it also leaves me totally beaten down. YMMV, maybe this is just what you like in a game. I myself however must force myself to never play it again - for my own mental health.
