Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

The work that's gone into this is astounding. I just wish I could play it. I got a couple of hours into it with 2 or 3 annoying crashes. But now it crashes consistently either at load-in or within about 60 seconds of play time. Unplayable now.
I'm on the Team FOLON Discord channel among the many others there looking to tech help, but the hoops you have to jump through... additional mods you have to install and files you need to edit just to get a crash log to send them... not worth the effort at this point. I'll be hoping/waiting for a major patch/update when they figure out what's wrong.
I was so excited to see this and couldn't wait to play it as I simply love the Fallout series and just keep playing them on repeat. Unfortunately, for me, this is soooo buggy, it's made it nearly impossible to play. There is such a lag when moving then the game just crashes. It has done this several times already. When accessing a computer, sometimes it seems to get stuck and you can't exit the computer so you have to exit the game and re-load. I'm trying to persist, but at this stage, it's not pleasant to play. I'm hoping there may be some updates to address the bugs as I realise this is a new release. I'm hoping so as I think playing the game in London and having a new Fallout game, will be brilliant
First of all, do not look on the star rating. Many people rating it one star for issues that with a mod in this scale are completly normal.
Back to the mod: The Team has build a fantastic London in the Fallout Universe with their own look and feel while still staying inside the fallout lore as much as possible.
Graphics are amazing and the world building is really great.
Sounddesign is a little bit lacking behind and could be more. Actually its often a little quite in the city.
The gameplay is more or less typical Fallout4 with a better dialog system.
there are tons of factions and quests. Honestly: This is a must have mod.
Just remember: You play a massive mod on an engine that even without bigger mods can get unstable very easily. So expect some bugs and crashes, especially the first days after release. But i am pretty shure the team will fix it. And for ZERO Money you get a fantastic new fallout game.
Not sure if I did something wrong but the game won't go past the load screen. I waited about twenty minutes before doing an Alt-F4 on it. Tried again and ran into the same issue. I followed the instructions and even went as far as to buy an additional copy on GOG for an easier installation process. I have faith Team FOLON will fix the issues. The game looks amazing, and I can't wait to play it.
As much as I would love to play this version of Fallout... I can't. I followed the installation guide and the game starts but as soon as I start NEW GAME... the video / cutscene freezes and then I have to restart my PC... the game just freezes.
To make matters worse I can't change Fullscreen mode in the game menu. Bummer. Will check in a few months maybe they will patch it.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
