Skip this turd, head for New Vegas
to keep things short: - dumb story, boring characters, no atmosphere, none of the wit that made the previous games fun and worth playing again and again - poor combat. in fact, very poor combat. gunning down people is an exercise in frustration - very shallow. character building lacks depth. just a bad shooter pretending to be an rpg if there's one thing that makes this game shine it must be its fantastic talent for lacking any trace of intelligence, imagination, love of excellence, humor, charm and, every now and then, even an average IQ. All in all, it's a classic omlette de garbage.

integrated graphics are not supported
Fallout 3 is a good game. But this version will not run on my laptop (see title). I can start the app, but clicking on "New Game" results in an immediate crash. If I was smarter, then maybe I could figure out a solution using mods or something. But I'm not, and so I didn't. Just make sure you read the system requirements before you buy.

Get New Vegas instead
Bethesda treats us to another disgrace in terms of gameplay, story, art direction, graphics, dialog, engine and programming. Unlike Oblivion, this doesn't veer into "so awful its kinda funny" territory. It's still reasonably entertaining as an exponent of their proven open world exploration formula, but why would you chose this to scratch that itch instead of the far superior Fallout New Vegas is above me. Minus points for misuse of a classic, venerable franchise.
