I love 3 just as much as New Vegas

People love hating on fallout 3 because it wasn't made by obsidian. I personally loved fallout 3, I thought it struck the perfect balance between Bethesda's obsession with streamlining and keeping old core mechanics. The world building and atmosphere were amazing, the intro in the vault was my favorite unskippable dungeon of all the fallouts. Some quests and areas did feel a tad rushed or unfinished and the companions were shallow; lacking dialogue and personality. I think Fallout 3 and New Vegas are about equal overall, each gaining and losing points in different areas. Fallout 4 is a totally different story where Bethesda has jumped the shark, but I really feel like they did a great job with 3 and remained loyal and true to the spirit and mechanics of fallout.

Fallout 3 GOTY - Intel UHD 620

Wouldn't run until: 1) I installed the Intel Graphics Bypass found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/17209/ 2) Launched the game directly (not via GOG Galaxy) with "Run As Administrator". For some reason launching the game using GOG Galaxy will not "Run as Administrator" even if you enable it on the executable. Now getting 40+ FPS on high settings with an i5-8250u Have fun!

Game start, but crash at "new game"

I can't play this game, it crashes as soon as i launch a new game. I searched for methods to fix my problem, and tried each of them (running the game as admin, solving compatibility issues, updating graphic drivers, installing the latest patch), but it still won't work. I'll leave a negative review for now, because even if that game is awesome, if you can't play it, it's pretty much useless. (for information i'm on win10)

A VERY EASY FIX

Launching and Crash Fix. I've purchased this game at least seven times since its release. I would give it 5 stars, but giving Bethesda praise after all these years of not fixing the past bugs in their games just so they can make money for defective videogames isn't going to happen. Anyway, I posted this mainly to be helpful for people who'd like to enjoy a classic RPG that will most likely have some sort of issue with bugs, like the issue that the game would crash after pressing New Game. I have Windows 10 Home. So here is a really easy fix for anyone wanting to play that I found: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/24913 If you don't already have a Nexus account, you'll need to make one, download the mod, and do exactly what is instructed. Make sure to download the files needed and place them in the main Fallout 3 folder. Double-click the left mouse button on the patch icon in your folder, and then launch after the patch does its thing. My game started right away. I use 7-zip to extract my mods.
