No longer runs as of 6/14/2021
The game won't launch. Instead, it prompts the "not installed" bug, and I've yet to find a fix. Bought this game here because other reviews said this game works "out of the box," but it does not.

Amazing game and works on windows 10
one of my favourite games of all time, used to play on console and the experience is much better on PC, easy to move saves from ps3 (and i assume Xbox) to use as well, made the mistake of buying this game on steam (their version didn't work with windows 10) after buying the GOG version it worked fine, really glad they're keeping this fantastic game playable, I had a small problem with micro-stuttering but that was fixed by following a guide by Lurpsukka on the steamcommunity discussion page which suggested changing (IFPSClamp=0) to (IFPSClamp=60) and making sure (iPresentInterval=1) in the .ini file (don't include brackets)

Fallout 3 GOTY - Intel UHD 620
Wouldn't run until: 1) I installed the Intel Graphics Bypass found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/17209/ 2) Launched the game directly (not via GOG Galaxy) with "Run As Administrator". For some reason launching the game using GOG Galaxy will not "Run as Administrator" even if you enable it on the executable. Now getting 40+ FPS on high settings with an i5-8250u Have fun!

Load Crashing!
I do not know who this will help or if it will help. But I tried everything I could find to get my game just to not crash loading it at all. I found that deleting the Fallout.ini in the My Documents -> My Games -> Fallout 3 made my game work. I do not know why but it did. I run Windows 10 with a Nvidia GForce GTX 1080 card and I have it set to ultra video settings. Also check and make sure that when you run launcher you set your screen resolution and if it still crashes set the Anisotropic Filtering from 15 Samples to 7 Samples which seemed to make it work fine. I have not gotten to play it yet which I did when it first came out and loved it then so I know what its about and its one I go back to and play many times and hope to continue to do so. I really hope this helps other people out.
