Still fun to play after all those years!

I have to admit i have been playing Fallout NV a lot more than Fallout 3. This was mainly because Fallout 3 has been known for it's launch problem issues. The Steam version certainly gave me a headache in the past to get it running and would still cause problems even after 'fixing it'. I hesitated a bit to purchase the GOG version, since there still seem to be people having issues to launch (which are fixable i think). But so far for me there have been no issues at all playing it on windows 10. I only get a warning in the beginning that it may not work correctly, but after pressing continue i can just go boot it up and explore the wasteland. No crashes or stuttering after roughly playing for 9 hours so far.

Doesnt work on Windows 11 AMD & Nvidea

The launcher starts, but after click "Start" the game just show a small black window and closed. I have try to fix this with multiple workarounds and mods from internet, but nothing works on my mashine. Otherwise, if a game in the store is tagged with "Works on: Windows (7, 8, 10, 11)" it should run without any mod or fix. Especially since there is no restriction on Windows 11 compatibility in the store. From what I remember, however, it would be a very nice game for 20€. Nevertheless, one star, because even a nice game has to start first.

It's not perfect but it's good.

I owned it first on steam but then it stopped working so i bougt it here and thank god it has Cloud Save here, but anyway it does glitch sometimes and it some times crash's and have some annoying bug's but if you can look past those flaws you might enjoy it. like it or hate it, bethesda or not, that is up to you.

Works on Windows 10, seldom crashes

Before I started playing, I followed the advice on Bethesda's official site. I set compatibility to Windows XP service pack 3, I ran as administrator, and played in windowed mode. I finished the base game and 3/5 of the DLCs so far (played 53.5 hrs). I made sure to save often as I was playing. I crashed in total about 8-9 times in those 53.5 hrs. Fallout 3 is a great game. I had it on the xbox 360 but never got the chance to play the DLCs. I picked this gog GOTY edditon on sale for $5 and it was definitely worth the risk whether or not it would work on Windows 10.

No longer runs on windows 10

It work without issues for quite a while now it refuses to run at all.
