Man, it has been a long time since playing this game. When I saw it on a very low price special, I had to buy it. Worth every penny and just as how I remember it. Heck, beating it in less than 80 days was well worth it (sorry for the spoilers, but if you manage to do almost everything in a short amount of time, you can save a good portion of places) This game is still a classic, and it still hasn't lost its touch of story line. Something that games of today rarely hit these days, and have fun. I would recommended for anyone that is a fan of RPG, Post Apocalypse, Mad Max, Pop Culture, and story line. It's a nice gem and hope if you are a person who only played Fallout 3, New Vegas, or 4, play this one. It won't disappoint you.

Don't waste your time. The game itself is amazing, a ton of fun, but this version is censored. They need to specify this isn't the original game anymore. It might be minor things to some, but the point of GOG is to get the original old stuff we enjoyed.

The file structure is a little different then the version in steam for the extras but comparing the two the GOG version has the fallout_refcard and manual pdf files in it. It also has the same extras. It looks like this is the same version found on steam but without the DRM which makes this the better choice in my opinion. My first Fallout game I played was Fallout 3. I got this game a back around 2019 and never really played it because the graphics where dated and the controls where so different. I tried it again after playing Baulder's Gate and really got into this time to the point where the graphics don't bother me anymore. I don't want to spoil anything for would be new players in terms of story but there are some interesting encounters. It's literally a sand box and you can play the way you want your character to be. It's worth giving it a shot. However, do yourself a favor and download the mod to uncensor the game so you can play it as it was intended.
