EVERSPACE™

First of all - this game is beautiful! Breathtaking at times. I enjoy the gameplay also a lot, because I don't have the time to sink hundrets of hours into a simulation or MMO. I just want to play an hour after work every once in a while, and this game is just perfect for it. A nice learning curve, challanging but not frustrating. Even though you die a lot (if you don't know what rogue-like means, google it before you buy this game), there is a good sense of progress. I often have to force myself to not play yet another run when it's becoming late. Tl;dr: It's good, buy it.

For me the controls in other space games were to sluggish or passive. In EVERSPACE everything feels so smooth and flexible. The fighting system felt very intuitive and familiar from the beginning. If you are smart you will stay alive for a long time even without perks. The players skill and creativity is more important to win a fight (or to get away from it). There are so many little "story"-snippets and new generated environments, that i cant stop to play this precious jewel of a game.

Wow, what an amazing game. I really like the game mechanics and the mix of rouge-lite elements. I keep wanting to do just one last run, but actually can't stop. One thing that could be improved is the ability to map the gamepad keys, since that burst button is really annoying and I would like to switch it for the reverse button that I never use. It's still a 5 star game and the most fun that I have had for a while.

Also I was hoping for changes to starting loadout a bit earlier but it seems I am kinda locked behind the same wall as FTL where I gotta get pretty far into it. Played this game about 5 actual hours and I gotta say it has it's fun but man the fact some of these enemies can turn on a dime to shoot you really makes it hard to progress.

This game is very difficult in the beginning, it took me 3h to stop dying to basic enemies. I'm still in the beginning but I already see that: There is a lot of variety between enemy ships and factions. Lots of weapons and modules to craft and upgrade. Exploration is very fun, diffrent resources, containers, trading ships. Combat is engaging, weapons are varied - we have diffrent primary and secondary weapons, booster and consumables.
