Blackwell Epiphany

Thus came the end of the story. Gameplay wise, while there were annoyances along the way, I would say it shone the brightest among the games in the series. Also the music was not nearly as loud as in the previous entries, so the User is no longer forced to read the subtitles, when the music swelled. The story, for lack of better word, is mixed. Did I like it? Not really, no. Did it enrapture me for apparently 7h of my playtime? It sure did. The biggest problems are some of the plotholes or threads of story that we as audience never truly learn about. I would have loved if they would release the game with additional scenes where we solve some of the mysteries left behind, as otherwise I feel it's just a wasted potential. While there were ups and downs, I do feel this is the best entry in the series, and worth a play. At least you will be able to join others in discussing this highly divisive Title.

This is a wonderful point and click game. I loved the whole series and the conclusion in this chapter was really moving. This game is a great upgrade compared to all the other games, especially in the graphics area. Really worth your time...

I downloaded the first game around 10am yesterday and finished the finale 10pm the next day. This story had me absolutely hooked from the jump. You fall in love with the characters, the simple mechanics, and the joy of living life as a Blackwell. I want more but am happy there is a resolution.

We've come to the end of the road, my friend. it's been a fun journey, hasn't it? So come, take this last step. It's time to finish this.

Mechanically, this game is, to me, the best of the series. Controls work just a little better than in previous installments. From a story point of view, I have enjoyed all of these games, and being invested in the story, was worried about the ending - endings are crucial. This one did not disappoint. Thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you so much, Dave and crew, for such a wonderful series.
