Epic Pinball: The Complete Collection

My first GOG review since I'm so happy to see this game again. I was randomly thinking about it just the other day and thought it wasn't for sale anywhere. Sure enough, it was added here a while back and didn't know about it. I first played a demo on my dad's work computer back in the mid 90s and we later got the full version but I lost the disc. I can safely say that this is just as great as I remember it. Sometimes DOS re-releases can be a bit rough around the edges but this works just right. I must confess, I tend to just replay my favorite tables over and over again (Super Android, Cyborgirl, Enigma and Crash and Burn mostly) but I can spend a long time playing them over and over again because I'm nowhere near making great progress on them. If anything, the music is as awesome as I recall.

Old school pinball games with epic sound and visuals? Keep it up!

Tables are nice, too bad the response of the commands is slow, which renders playing pinball almost impossible. I see enthusiastic comments here: is it possible it's only my problem?

I thought this was Extreme Pinball. But comes pretty close. Not as good in visuals but compensates in variety of tables (Although some are not as good as others). Music is very good (As expected from Epic Games).

I grew up on Pinball Fantasies (and Dreams, Illusions) and played sometime this too, with the rest of the "not so good ones" like Kiss Pinball and such. But I remembered it's great and... it's a big disappointment. Also the DOXBox settings are bad, there is terrible tearing and stuttering from time to time (no, my PC is not weak....).
