Epic Pinball: The Complete Collection

I had given up on finding a working version of this old favorite.

Epic Pinball is boasting 12 tables of which only 1 is good (really good) and that is Super Android. The rest is not even mediocre, just low effort art work, lame music and generally the tables are just boring and uninteresting. On top of that Epic Pinball has performance issues (stutters and screentearing) on normal Dosbox so you are kind of forced to try different Dosbox forks, like Dosbox X or Dosbox Staging, so it doesn't ruin your playing experience. On another note, the Android or Super Android table was always the free demo table of Epic Pinball. There are plenty of websites hosting this demo version, so if it isn't too much hassle to configure a Dosbox fork you get the best and only table worth having there for free.

Not bad in its time but badly aged. Gameplay is too basic, sound is poor, physics is weird. Hard to live the experience of that era.

Remeber all those fun pinball games when you were a kid that everyone wanted to play with all the targets and lots of bumpers? Well these aren't those pinball games. These are the ones that no one wanted to play because they were boring. Not enough targets or side bumpers or disc bumpers and you can't see the whole pinball table at one time so you can't even see what you are aiming at with your flippers. Don't waste your money or time.

i tried to download it and i got a mac based pkg file. i tried the galaxy installer and i got a mac based archive, meaning that i can not install it on pc. to make matters worse: my anti-virus program had it removed as a threat back when i installed it. i deleted that installer however.
