Eador. Masters of the Broken World

I bought this game after i read some positive reviews,just after it was launched.I think it was version 1.1.3. I will spare you the grisly details.all you need to know is that the game was unplayable.Crashes to desktop,bugs and missing features. In September they released the latest patch that fixes many of the crashes but not all.I still get plenty which is just unacceptable after so many months from the release. The game could provide some fun as it could be quite good,but here comes the major problem.The AI turn is terribly slow.Even with high end pc,the Ai turn is so slow it is not really worth your time.You waste so much time starring at the wait screen, it is not a game anymore. Since the developers are already engaged with a new game, I don't expect any patch,so don't waste your time on this game.There are many excellent titles to chose from.

Same game play as Genesis, but you are paying 14 bucks more for the updated graphics. Only for the hardcore fans of the first game. For new players, I recommend the first game because it's cheaper, unless you're big on graphics.

This is quite buggy at the moment. Hopefully it will be fixed. I can not compare it to the other Eador, but this title looks like it has potential. I would wait for some patched before you buy.

This game is a remake. I read some reviews before I pre-ordered, and knew this game would just be a graphical upgrade of the original. I really enjoyed playing Genesis, and think the developers made a great game. I don't need multiplayer. I don't need new gameplay. I just wanted widescreen, and maybe some better combat animations. I can usually run graphically intensive games pretty well, the most demanding of which was maybe Starcraft 2, but with this game I get tons of artifacts. I think it's the worst of any game I've played. For a turn-based game, this is pretty sad. I could only play for a few minutes before it became unbearable. I might have looked past it if the combat had been good. But, something about the perspective chosen for 3D in the combat screen made me nauseous. If the developers had simply made Genesis widescreen, and maybe added some better combat animations, I would have happily paid $10 or so. Why the developers bothered releasing this garbage is beyond me.

Genesis was amazing and a great fun to play hotseat. Now it's just the battle and for that it gets a shameful 1
