Description
Eador is a universe made of countless shards of land drifting in the Great Nothing. Each of the shards is a little world unto itself, with geography and denizens of its own. The power over the shards is bitterly contested by Masters, the immortal beings mortals believe to be gods.

Take the role of the mighty Master and shape the destiny of Eador! It is in your power to deliver the world from ultimate destruction – or to choke it with an iron fist of tyranny. Eador. Masters of the Broken World is a turn-based fantasy strategy game, where the decisions you make affect the world even deeper than the battles you win.

  • A balanced fusion of grand strategy, turn-based tactics, and RPG elements;
  • Boundless role playing opportunities coupled with a massive selection of stratagems and ways to wage war;
  • An intriguing, non-linear story that unfolds in a living, breathing fantasy world.

Note: This game may require additional serial key for multiplayer mode. In case it is not automatically generated in your GOG.com library (open it via website → select the game → More → Serial Keys), please reach out to our Support team.

Ho hum

My first review on GOG, with good reason. Granted, it might be my own fault for not reading up on the game beforehand, but as numerous others have already mentioned, Masters of the Broken World is identical to Genesis. Even the bugs are the same (unicorn fight freeze, to name one). GOG QC/testing should've prevented this from appearing on their store, at least until the obvious copy/pasted code was fixed.

A stone on the wind.

As a young boy, Eador was without hope. Without the strands of love that tug from mother to child, from father to son. Discarded, abandoned, a fleck of a life that never was, he wandered his own sinewy pathways of thought and dreams. As he stumbled through forest and stream, village and hovel, he came to meet the force that would change the course of his existence, and the fate of the all sentient life. That force was his trusted companion and lifelong confidant, McFluffles Whitebeard, the great traveling beard of the north. Attaching itself to Eador's chin, McFluffles began the journey of a thousand journeys. Together, they set out to find McFluffles former master, Santa, who was their, and our, final hope to heal these Broken Worlds. Thus begins their tale...

buggy rubbish

Just sent this message to GOG support -think it says it all not even listed in my orders shown above but I have bought/downloaded this and it wont run - only download from you I've ever had a problem with -tried to download again but still same problem -disgusted you have sold me this unusable rubbish. Take it off my account and give me a refund - I have to reboot the entire system every time I try to run it -complete and utter cr&p. I am not a product tester -if it doesnt work properly dont sell it, I'm not interested in paying for buggy rubbish.

Eador 2: Broken Game

Poorly optimized, game uses up to much energy that the rig suddenly shuts down. Many bugs like last man standing. Last enemie dies but still lives, so you can restart the whole battle. Do not buy this mess. The whole game is just a hd remake of Eador Genesis. If you want to play Eador, keep playing the first game. This here feels like a quick money grabbing scam.

Too complicated and not thought-through

It's takes a few ideas from MoM and from HMM series, makes a brownish kinda mix out of that all, adds complication and counterintuitive menus... Graphics are OK but not stunning. The total is worth... I dunno... five dollars? six on a good day? But certainly not 20.
