Dust: An Elysian Tail

Sincerely, i didn't completely know what kind of game it was, i only knew it had hand drawn cartoon style characters and beautiful worlds, and that it had some metroidvania-ish elements. I'm completely satisfied with this game, which has a solid and fast paced combat system, good exploration, and a really good and adult story, i recommend it to everybody who loves some of these aspects in videogames, for me, it's worth it

About 20 hours of game with good graphic, story and fine optimization, some interesting interactions, only lack some more levels, quests and some kind "responsibility" for choices that player made (sadly only one patch and you will be walk like dog on leash). Game crashed only once to windows desktop without any communicate so I think is pretty much stable or good enough.

One of the things about Dust is that it's a game that revolves around combos. Keep that in mind as you fight and you'll do great. There are of course platforming sections but the real star is the combat. There is also a kind of Zelda like progression system, where you'll learn new moves that allow you to get to new areas so you'll back track a bit to uncover everything you missed.

i grew up playing the NES, Genesis and Snes, so i played a LOT of platformers. So i got burned out on playing platformers on PC. there are only a handful of modern side-scrollers that I enjoy on the PC and Dust is probably the best of them. Its more combat oriented than platforming, which i prefer. there are RPG elements to the game where you can upgrade 1 of 4 stats of your choice and also a shop system where you could upgrade your gear. Fidget your sidekick is adorable, the plot is great, voice acting is superb. liked it so much i played it a 2nd time over but this time on hardest difficulty. Tip: parry is the key when fighting the giant golem dudes
