Dust: An Elysian Tail

It is an amazing game in many aspects. The animation, art style and voice acting are gorgeous. The story is beautiful and well-told and the metroidvania aspect of the game is undobtedly well-executed. But there is a slight problem to keep in mind. While there is not many games I could recommend more than “Dust...”, the game is extremely easy to play even on the hardest difficulty setting, the enemies just don't scale and after you hit a certain level, you breeze through all the enemies in any area in no time or effort. And while I enjoyed the game a lot, it is still a thing to keep in mind. Oh, and while the game was initially released on consoles, it is one of the best pc ports ever made, keyboard and mouse support is flawless and I have encountered no crashes whatsoever.

A beautiful game in every aspect. I knew waiting for it to come on GOG will be worth it :D

Don't be fooled by the graphics and the setting - they seem childish in their Anime-style and with all the humanoid animals. But the graphics are just beautiful and are combined with an enthralling story. And the gameplay is a classic well made 2D metroidvania with a few rpg-elements. The only downside is, that it is over after about 15 hours - I'd love to see more.

It plays really well. It is fun to play. The characters are memorable. I laugh at the jokes. Really play this game because this is the benchmark for all games.

It's beautiful, sounds amazing, feels great and has a not too crazy but not too simple story. Only major issue I have with it is the limited amount of combos, however the ones that do exist feel amazing to execute.
