finnaly, they came out with a update for this thing. and now it is as good as it has always been, i remember the days of my youth when my big brother was playing this. i always wanted to play it myself but never got to back then, but now i finaly get to play this game, and it was worth the wait! this game has aged very well.

GoG have supplied a fix to sort out the repeated crashing on windows 7. Nice job! Back to playing this awesome classic.

As you will no doubt see, all reviews of the game on here say it's an awesome game, this is true, although it felt like some of the charm of the original was lost in the jump to full 3D the game is still amazingly good fun and truly Bullfrog. Where the reviews fall down is when people point out how the game doesn't actually work, this was also true, the poor creation of the game resulted in anything beyond Windows 98 causing utter hell which could only be fixed by removing the audio and even then crashed a lot. Good news though, GoG has released a patch! I've been testing it on a 32bit Windows 7 and so far had zero problems with the game! So if you was holding off for this reason you have no more excuses not to play this amazing title! GET IT NOW!

I won't tell you how awesome this game is. I'm guessing everyone here know that pretty well. I want to review the patch that was released in July 2012 by GoG... It is perfect ! I had roughly a crash every 5 minutes before that and now it is stable. I played it for almost 10 hours and haven't experienced a single crash. I can't thank GoG enough. This is actually one of my favorite game, and I haven't been able to play it for a long time. If one of you, GoG team members, come near Grenoble, France, I would gladly offer you a beer.
