Dungeon Keeper™ 2

I love the DK series, DK2 improved certain things that DK did good, mostly the screen resolution and use of aceleration. It is 2018, this game has been in GOG for a very long time, and it crashes every time I try to load a map when the resolution selected is other than 640x480. Also, there is no widescreen mode, or anything. I would like a 16:9 and at least a 720p mode. This game would have a 5 stars otherwise.

Runs fine on Win7 64bit. No problems! Please ignore the old postings. Still one of the most addictive and funniest games of all time. Buy it!

The second to the last level with the 3 princes is bugged making it impossible to finish. No matter what, a prince will die being tortured making it impossible. Capturing one prince at a time or all three at once results in a loss with nothing to do but use the cheat to skip that level. Too bad, that is the best level in the game. The rest of it is enjoyable except the pet dungeons which are pointless and boring.

I am very happy to find this game on GOG, I played my old copy of DK2 to death on my stone age NEC computer. Works just fine on my Vista OS. As for the people that complain this is a horrible port because it doesn't work well on Window 7, please direct your eyes to the system requirement and it doesn't mention anything about Window 7. I am sure someday it will work on Window 7, until then please don't whine about a great port and game just because you didn't bother to read it, or you did read it and decide to take a chance anyway, either case the responsibly it is on you, not on GOG.
