Love this game, please please port it to Mac! Love the original DK game from gog, would LOVE to buy this one too!

Will this ever be ported over to OSX? This is one of my favorite games of all time... but I can't buy Windows and run BootCamp just for this thing.

The game is great, I've played it since childhood. The GoG version worked on win7 with some help from the community but this is no longer the case. The game functions, you can play it, but possession is mangled by lag and non-responsive inputs, now it is like taking turns in an old dungeon crawler. Another issue is the sound, especially during cutscenes, which turns into a choppy and glitched mess every handful of seconds or fails to change into battle music. I could never get it to work with any variant of screen resolution other than 640x480 with every combability setting checked off which I didn't mind but the sound and input bugs/lag just ruin the game for me. I've tried searching for solutions, downloading updated dl's, or using community patches but none of it works. I can now only recommend this on OS Win7 or lower.

Is there any possibility of porting this so it is available on Mac OSX? There are loads of people wanting to play this classic who are held back by the fact that it isn't available on Mac. It was done to the first Dungeon Keeper. :D

they removed the scavenger and the computer assistant. they made the gameplay overly complicated by having 3 ways to train creatures(training room, combat pit and actual combat) and an extra need to keep them happy(casino). they removed the old research system and made only specific creatures able to research. they replaced about half of the creatures. only the warlock, vampire, mistress, skeleton, bile demon and troll remained. gone is the beetle, spider, fly, demon spawn, dragon, orc, ghost, horned reaper(as a normal creature) and tentacle. the mana and the ability to upgrade spells is useful but, the spells never gets as strong as in the first game. they did not supply an editor either. the game works terribly on ati graphics cards of the time and only worked well on nvidia cards. i got it working perfectly on my gt 630m in windows 7 though that was before asus placed a restriction on my system.
