Could be nostalgia speaking but I had a lot of fun playing this game 10 years ago. I recently played it again and I had fun with it. Hopefully, GOG will one day add River of Time, which, if you played and enjoyed this one, you'd definietely enjoy the sequel as well.

Very lovely game and tbh, the modern games are missing something the "older" games had in check, Lovely worldbuild and atmosphere .. This might seem a bit clunky coming from modern games but still recommend it. Fantastic team behind it I am sure.

The garphics and game play are quite enjoyable. For anyone who comes from a background of loving D&D style adventures with a twist of mystery and intrigue, this came is for you! It has a helpful integrated tutorial system which can be disabled for more advanced players. It provides very well-organized tracking of main and side quest tasks and progress and overall it's an an entertaining experience. Things that would make the game even more enjoyable would be greater integration of live voice dialogue, move challenging puzzles to solve, and more mini bosses that test your combat and magic skills

We need to go back to the days of rpgs like this. Where companies could make something original and not rehashing the same games over and over. If you enjoy mmo's this game is for you. Just subtract the online nature, which actually plays into the games strengths instead of making everyone in an mmo as the main character. You know the game. Stay away from it, play older rpgs and rediscover what real storytelling and lore is.

I'm enjoying it a lot. This game has a soul, not like modern gaming. THis alows you to truly inmerse in another world with different cultures and fantasy races.
