Drakensang

DSA (Das schwarze Auge) is a german Classic Paper and Pen RPG. Drakensang and Drakensang 2 are very good adaptations of that Game. Deep Characters and Sory, You can play many variants of a Char / Race / Class. The Game often offers many ways to solving a quest and violence is not always the best option.

I really enjoyed the game when it was released 2008 and even after 12 years teh graphic ist astonishing and the story is really great.

Showing true German craftsmanship, this game plays smooooth and is a satisfying rpg that I keep coming back to play. It avoids overly violent and dark matters that modern rpg's seem to be obsessed with, when really they are contrived and heavy handed garbage chutes designed for people without real stress in their lives. This game keeps it light and focused on being an enjoyable journey into the German table top rpg The Dark Eye. Sit back and explore this very satisfying and relaxing adventure.

Love this game, and the world it is in. One of the best old school rpg's out there.

I played the game when it was first released digitally on...something, anyway years ago. I didn't play it much, perhaps a handful of hours. This is from what I remember, just in case I might help someone. But take it for what it is. It's a European RPG, German IIRC in origin. Has lots of depth, good looking graphics for the time it was released and fun combat system. As you can probably see from the screenshots, the graphics had a very late 00s style, which is natural. If you like RPGs, for the the price on sale it is a no brainer. Take it. For full price, you will get several hours out of it so even if you don't love it, it's not bad. I never finished the game, nothing to do with the game, so please don't take this as a full review.
