Double Dragon Trilogy

Im getting a full 60 fps, yet it acts like its lagging. It doesnt respond well to controlls, and will go on its on tangent moving up, down, left, right, constantly shoulder bashing or attacking air even after unplugging the controller! It jumped off the map 3 times in a row and then asked me if I wanted to continue! I tried keyboard controls, and just as bad. It doesnt really respond to movement. I tried tweaking vid settings but even that failed as it isnt drawing resolutions right. 4k is blown up super large so that I only see a small part of the screen. Windowed or fullscreen, the probs are the same. Im uninstalling this trash. I was using a 360 controller fyi, which it says has full support. I am on Win 10 64 bit. Better to return to emulators and play the sega version. This one bites.

You can download the game drm-free with the gog downloader. Multiplayer still needs the gog galaxy servers though but that's just for online. You can still play local multiplayer. Point is, you NEED the gog servers to play online. How else would you play it? But the game is still drm-free if you download it through the gog downloader.

Well, I found this on GOG.com as a free gift from a sale. I really love to play this titles again and again. I prefer GOG.com over Steam, and this was just a perfect gift for me. :)

Probably the first beat 'em up game I ever played in the arcade. Lots of fun and nostaglia.

The previous reviews failed to mention that this game includes a forced GOG Galaxy Client. Basically, what this is: You install Double Dragon Trilogy (with no option to avoid the Client, I double checked) The desktop shortcut actually goes directly to the Client instead of Double Dragon, so after uninstalling the Client, you have to manually create a shortcut. Is this really what GOG is coming to? I've avoided Steam for years with the relief of finding GOG to have this BS? Come on GOG you're better than that.
