Don't Starve

This game is about what you would get if you handed the reins of Minecraft to Tim Burton. Well, minus the constant digging and the blockiness. Maybe it's because I haven't managed to survive for more than a couple of weeks but I can't see how this game can get boring or samey at all, although the initial search for supplies of any kind (aside from wood and grass) CAN get a bit annoying I guess. I would also say that one of the game's biggest selling points is that they tell you almost nothing when you start, leaving you to figure out what needs to be done and when, and I STILL don't fully understand the health/sanity/hunger meters you're given. All I know is that I've been hooked on this since I bought it in a Steam Sale about 4 months ago, to the point where I even went and bought it again the moment it was released for PS Vita.

Incredible game for people who likes to think and explore on their own, don't expect to be guided or even a few instructions on how to start, you awake at the forest and have no idea what you have to do, also, dont even try it if you dont accept when you die, you'll die, lots of times Expect to lose everything you have worked so hard to get during a few weeks in just a second, if after that you try again because you've learned something new on how to stay alive, this is your game. I'm not so happy because I was looking for a game to play for half an hour from time to time, but I can't stop exploring and building things now... be warned!

A nice little survival game. Many ways do die before you figure out how to survive. And when you have figured it out - something new will most likely get you killed.

This is a really wonderful sandbox game. I've been playing since the early beta days and I'm glad to see yet another sale platform for these guys. They've crafted an incredibly funny, smart, dynamic system with really interesting game mechanics. This is a game about exploration and survival, and half the fun is simply observing the various randomly-generated worlds that your character ends up in. If you're on the fence-- just download it! You won't regret it.

This game keeps drawing me back in, and I found it genuinely difficult! It reminded me of a lot of the survival elements I enjoy about Minecraft, but more fully developed. It truly is a struggle to stay alive in this game and rewards curiosity, everything I wanted from it.
