Choose your race and origin. Choose from 6 unique origin characters with their own backgrounds and quests, or create your own as a Human, Lizard, Elf, Dwarf, or Undead. All choices have consequences.

I bought the game partly because of the multiplayer functionality.
But I did not know that their multiplayer functionality is partitally outsourced to the distribution platform, and I am the only one of my friends that bought on GOG instead of Steam.
So now I cant connect to my friends on Steam.
Also, I cant install mods because they are only available on steam.
Even if you get it for a few Euros less. dont buy it here. or any other game with outsourced multiplayer functionality and mods!
Seriously one of the best RPGs of all time! I've played both games in the series with my adult son and we have had so much fun... epic battles and lots of laughing, but still a serious and hardcore RPG. It's a LONG game that is damn near PEREFECTION! Though completely different in design, this game rivals WIZARDRY 8 as the greatest RPG ever... and that says a LOT. I'd love to see another in the series! PLEASE MAKE ORIGINAL SIN 3!!!
Great game in every aspect.
Some of the mechanics could be improved (UI, skill balancing) but it does not take away from the amazing experience this game offers.
