There are few RPGs I'd dare to call essential, but Divinity: Original Sin 2 stands out among all others as deserving of that accolade. It's undoubtedly one of the best tactical and role-playing experiences you'll ever have on any platform.

Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition is so complex that I think everyone will find something to like, whether it's combat or an exciting story. The best thing I can say about it is that if I'm asked what I liked about it, I can't pinpoint something. It's the complete experience and the feeling of joy that it left behind.

Fantastic!
If you have fond memories of games like Baldur's Gate get ready to have them replaced by wet dreams of Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Annoying gameplay
Don't really like the gameplay, kept dying in silly ways, no way to skip watching NPCs perform a turn etc. Was expecting something better.

Great game, limited use
Honestly, as a game in it self is worth 5 stars, but it not only for windows and mac, I can not give said rating in good conscience. Now, if you play on windows or mac, great. Buy. But if you ever plan on moving onto linux, sadly, I'd recommend something else, since this game has no native linux port, and as of writing this review, runs poorly on older hardware through wine.

It ovestayed its welcome
I can see the appeal of the game, but after 50 hours I was so tired of it that I decided to play something else, and when I came back to it I realised I didn't remember anything about it or what was I supposed to be doing so... meh, out the window it goes
