Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Well, I tried. I love RPGs, I love a good story. This game was constantly brought up as something I might enjoy due to my gaming likes. It was on sale, so I figured I'd give it a try. This isn't a true RPG, it's a turned based snooze fest adventure action game with some RPG elements. I normally do not play turned based - not becasue it's hard, but because I find it tedious. I mean, I shouldn't be able to get up to get a coffee and come back to see it's not quite my character's turn to take a swip at the stupid armor rating element this game has. But, hey, if I think the story is worth it, I'll stick it out to see how it ends. Unfortunately, the story mediocre, nothing ground breaking as far fantasy rpgs go. I did like the companions, though and stuck it out for them. I don't think this game is as amazing a people say. If you don't like turn based combat, but are looking to get your RPG itch scratched - look elsewhere - like Pillars of Eternity or Pillars 2 Deadfire. Your time is better spent playing something else.

I cannot believe how good of a game this is. Immersive, good story, and so much to explore and discover. I simply cannot get enough.

I only played a little but it's quite good.

It was unforgettable experince. If you like rp games, you must FINISH the story before you die.
