It completes the first game

Be aware that this is a continuation and that playing this first might not be as good an experience as it should. To enjoy this at its fullest completing the first game is higly recommendable (both games take less than 2 or 3 hours each). This second part has been very satisfying in terms of completing the story, but it is also true that the first one was, for me, slightly better. I am not saying this one is bad at all, just saying that the puzzles here are quite simpler. The ambience was also more "scary" in the first one, even though this second one also has beautiful settings with improved pixel art. To sum up, it is worth a buy, the experience is great, the puzzles, settings and characters enjoyable and its strongest point is its story. Both games strongly recommended!

Amazing story

This sequel of Distraint game tells really touching story about reasons of Carey's demeanour. Great music and characteristic graphics make the game unforgettable. If you enjoyed the first part, you must try this masterpiece!

Wow

So, definitely you want to play the first game first, this game is connected to the end of the first game. I don't want to spoil it other than to say, the first game is a bit more of a traditional narrative, this is more spaced out and weird (but it all makes sense in the end). Should only take about 3 hours to complete, so not sure if full price is worth it, but very happy to support a great and interesting solo developer.

It hit close to home and thats ok

The gameplay follows the same loop as the first game (simple puzzles and short chase sequences), but the narrative is still great. I don't want to spoil anything, all I can say is that if you ever experienced loss this game will touch your heart.
