Destroy All Humans! Demo

based on the demo, a good balance of remaining faithful to the original whilst adding or tweaking elements to freshen up the gameplay for modern audiences. Only critiques (which might just be me and not the game) are that 1. Moving the Flying Saucer up and down with the mouse feels a little strange at first, so not sure about that. 2 Telekinesis is very fluid to use but I found myself having difficulties grabbing the right object if in the middle of a fight and aiming objects (and people) at other people. Overall, really good, take my money and deliver on the rest please

The remake is very faithful to the original while also offering extra content like unlockable skins, replayable missions, side missions to earn extra DNA, and some shiny new upgrades that weren't in the original. I think some of the character models used in cutscenes can be a bit overexaggerated/ugly at times but generally speaking I like the art direction choice they took. The unlockable art gallery shows direct comparisons between the original and new models of various things like crypto, the damaged probes, and various buildings around the first area like the barn and the graphical and artistic upgrades have done this remake a world of good. If the rest of the game is as well recreated as the first mission, this will very likely be the GOTY for many people. If the game is successful enough I hope they remake the second game as well.

Event nostalgia googles can't compare to what they managed to do. Alongside faithful animation reworks, all assests are new, and the sound is original as it should be (finally a dev realizes that sound carries much of the nostalgia an often changing that can be detremental). Some stuff is new and sounds different but makes the gameplay feel much more streamlined and fluid, so props to the ingenuity. Can't wait for the full release
