This game was groundbreaking!

I think this is one of the best unplayed games from the PC. While we were all excited with Doom, and Heretic. It came Descent, which make the 3D experience fantastic. Challenging, action packed and great graphics and effects for that year make it truly unique. If you still havent place oh... you really are missing a great game of the gaming industry 5/5

Great reminiscing

I originally played both of these when they were first released on a 486DX2/50. Both of these games are classics and for less than $10 it is a steal. With the descent rebirth mod which was mentioned by another reviewer, which allows increased resolutions and many more options these games have been brought back to life.

Remembering

Brilliant game. I still remember nearly falling out of my chair at least a few dozen times. Or even just the feeling of complete nausea coupled with toppling over backwards after pulling the mouse back too fast. Well thought out gameplay, fast pace.

classic! lost of fun

I used to play this in the 90s, when I was 17 or so. Couldn't figure how many nights spent on the endless 3d mazes, tunnels and labs of Descent. sometimes it was hard to tell what was the upside. First 3d simulation I ever tried and possibly one of the best
